Egg Slider Card

This egg slider card was the FREE file for the Creative Kuts' Build A Project this week. I used the turtle & rabbit from the Valentine Buds file for the inside figures, and I added a few colored eggs. The outside I decorated with a floral over lay and some flowers from a Cricut cartridge. The banner I made myself in SCAL, cut out the letters and backed it with purple paper.

Football Is My Game!

This is my layout for Creative Kuts this week. I used the Football Is My Game file. Of course I had to use my favorite team colors, orange & maroon, for Virginia Tech!! The title I made myself. The football paper for the photo mats, I scanned the 12 X 12 original paper and printed it in a 5 X 7 size. I really like this file, and I have plenty of pictures to go with it. The title really describes me because football really is my game, I LOVE football!! Especially Hokie Football!!

Today was a good day! I got the drywall repaired, now I just have some sanding to do and then I can finish hanging the wallpaper!! And my new laptop battery came, I won't have to be attached to a cord. Yeah!!
We have had some crazy weather this week. Sunday, we had snow.  Yesterday, we had sleet but it looked more like itty-bitty snowballs. Today, we have thunder storms and I think tomorrow it is suppose to be near 70 degrees.

Bunny Pot

Well, the sun was out today, and most of the snow we got yesterday is just about gone. This was a heavy, wet snow and it brought down tree limbs on top of the house and back porch. Everything liked so beautiful this morning all covered with white. Didn't get much of anything done today. Had to go to Staples to return a defective external hard drive, this one seems to be working properly! Went grocery shopping at Walmart, thank goodness there was hardly anyone there. And I went with my husband, Billy to get a trailer hitch put on his Explorer. Got to see my Grandkids sledding this afternoon, they were loving this snow. So I did not get to work on my room, or to craft. I do have a card I made the other day to share. I used the FREE Creative Kuts' VIP newsletter file, Bunny Pot, to make this card.

It's Snowing!!

It's snowing here in VA today!! It was 69 degrees yesterday and today it is snowing, crazy! I got alittle crafting done today, I got my Build A Project for Creative Kuts finished. This was a really cute card to do!! The hutch was the FREE file for BAP and I used the shapes library in SCAL for the baby items. The baby powder & shampoo, I just used shapes to make them (they didn't turn out like I'd hoped, but I'm still learning). Did not get any work done on my room, hoping to get dry wall repaired tomorrow.

New Craft Room

Now that I'm up to date with the projects I've been working on, I can tell you about my new craft room. The new carpet was installed before Christmas. And finally found a wallpaper I liked the first of January, so I've been working on it since January, but I haven't gotten very much accomplished. I have 1 1/2 walls wallpapered and I still have two holes in the dry wall to repair on two walls. When my son was living at home this was his room and he put his knee through the wall when he was sleeping. Of course he didn't bother to tell me this! I still don't have furniture, yet. I've been sick so I haven't felt like messing with anything, hopefully I'll get the walls finished this week. So that is where I'm at with my new craft room.

Lucky To Have You

This is a layout I made using the Lucky To Have You file from Creative Kuts. I think the bear came out pretty cute and I like the color combo but I wasn't too thrilled with the shamrock paper, but that was all I had and I needed to get this layout posted.

Build A Project Mailbox

Every Monday at Creative Kuts they start a new Build A Project (BAP), everyone can join in! Just send a request and you'll be sent the FREE file and the only requirement is to put it together and post a picture by 5pm pst. This week it was a mailbox project. I made mine for Valentines Day and I used the My Special V-Day file, from Creative Kuts, to decorate the side.

Love At First Peek

I love this file! Cheryl from Creative Kuts made this from a suggestion I made and I think it came out very cute!! Great job, Cheryl!! So I used this file to make a layout.
