Now for my project:
I have a 2 page layout I made using the Reach For the Stars file. I didn't go for the traditional Christmas or winter colors, I like the bright & pastel colors of the gloves! The stacked snowpeople were all chalked and pop dotted for dimension and I cut an extra standing snowman to put on my 2nd page. I used a white gel pen to draw the loopies on their sweaters and punched tiny snowflakes for their gloves. The snowflakes are from the SCAL library and I cut them from glitter paper.

I have a 2 page layout to share. Our challenge for this hop was to make a 4" border. I used the Hearty Harvest file for my border. Chanelle, her harvest and the leaves are all chalked and pop dotted to give dimension. I cut extra pumpkins and leaves to fill in around the border.

For this hop we were to use something that rings. I used bells in my door decoration for the house. I used several Creative Kuts files for this layout. The house is from Home for the Holidays, the bells are the Christmas Bells file, the boy is from Vet Office and the girl is from Strawberry Festival. The flag is from the SCAL library.

Card Caravan Blog Hop Line-up---



                                     Now for my project.

I used the rose file to decorate my card. I made this card for some friends that will be getting married in June. I used their color scheme, black, white, red and a touch of grey. I used a Sizzix embossing folder to emboss the white cardstock, and I used black & red half pearls to dressup the embossing.  I cut a few swirls using the swirls & flourishes from the library in SCAL. I chalked all the petals of the rose and leaves, the leaves are from a Cricut cartridge.


I put black half pearls on the ends of the embossed swirls and a larger red in the middle where the swirls meet.
