Totally "Owl"some

I have a new 2 page layout to share I made using Creative Kuts', Totally "Owl"some cutting file. I love this file! I really like the middle owl with her eyelashes!! It was very fast and easy to put together!! For this layout, I chalked all the pieces, the pink mats and the title words. I cut extra leaves and layered them on the branches and cut extra flowers to put here and there.

As I'm looking at the stacked owls, I just realized they would be great for a See, Hear & Speak layout.

Bee Happy

Today, I am sharing a layout I've made for Valentines Day. Yes, I'm way behind in my projects!! When I started this, I got the flu and thought I was dying and no sooner had I gotten over the flu, my "Dear" husband gave me his crud!! Then my computer died! At first I thought it was the battery but the battery people said it was my charger. I did not know computers could run without a battery!!! So, I take the computer to a computer shop and ask them to check my charger, he tells me my computer is crap and that it is dead!! So I had to buy a new computer!! Then I didn't think I was going to get my SCAL 2 program installed on my new computer, the activation code had to be reset. But thank goodness it is now installed and working!! So that is why I'm so far behind. 

Now to my project. I used the Bee-ing Happy file from Creative Kuts. This is such a cute file and it was very easy to put together. I did cut extra flowers for this layout.

Tea-riffic Layout!


Today I wanted to share a layout I made using another new file from Creative Kuts. This is such a cute file, it will be perfect for my Granddaughter's teaparty pictures!!

Chinese New Year

The layout I'm sharing today I made using the Chinese New Year package from the Creative Kuts. They have added many new files, go check them out, http://www.creativekuts.com/

I didn't know anything about a Chinese New Year so I checked it out on the internet of course. The color red is very important in this celebration as well as orange. 
All the paper piecings were chalked and pop-dotted for dimension. I made the shadows behind the Chinese writing using SCAL.

Now for my project:

I have a 2 page layout I made using the Reach For the Stars file. I didn't go for the traditional Christmas or winter colors, I like the bright & pastel colors of the gloves! The stacked snowpeople were all chalked and pop dotted for dimension and I cut an extra standing snowman to put on my 2nd page. I used a white gel pen to draw the loopies on their sweaters and punched tiny snowflakes for their gloves. The snowflakes are from the SCAL library and I cut them from glitter paper.

I have a 2 page layout to share. Our challenge for this hop was to make a 4" border. I used the Hearty Harvest file for my border. Chanelle, her harvest and the leaves are all chalked and pop dotted to give dimension. I cut extra pumpkins and leaves to fill in around the border.
